My son usually complains about waistbands digging in, but the elastic on these is soft and wide enough that he hasn't mentioned it once. The microfiber blend feels thin and stretchy, which is perfect since he runs hot at night.
Bought these for my 9-year-old who plays football three times a week and the microfiber keeps him dry way better than his old cotton pairs. The mid-rise cut stays put during practice too, no riding up. Elastic waistband hasn't lost any stretch after a month of washing.
My son usually complains about itchy waistbands but these boxers have been zero fuss. The blue elastic doesn't dig in and the microfiber feels really smooth, plus they've survived a bunch of washes already without losing shape.
